‘The Bikeriders’ is out now on Digital

Movies can help bring some amazing true stories to life. When done right they can take audiences on a thrilling journey. I will admit I knew little about The Bikeriders, but thought it might be a fun film to watch. I was able to get a digital code for this movie and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for The Bikeriders here:

After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Butler), the newest member of Midwestern motorcycle club the Vandals, led by the enigmatic Johnny (Hardy). Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

This was okay film, but it didn’t blow my mind either. The cast does a fine job with their characters, and the soundtrack was pretty good. Sadly the story itself was slow, boring, at times dull and rather predictable. After something awful ends up happening, someone was forced to make a tough decision. ‘Johnny, Benny and Kathy’ had the cast talking about their characters and how much they enjoyed working on this film. ‘The Era of the Bikeriders’ revealed a bit of the process of making this film and had some of the rest of the cast talking about their experiences working on it. Some people might like this film, but I wouldn’t say it is a must see.

The Bikeriders is out now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and Digital. You can follow this movie on Facebook, X and Instagram.
