Hear the tale of two pretty amazing men in ‘The Highwaymen’
I have liked almost everything Woody Harrelson has been in. He was amazing in Kingpin, and brought plenty of laughs to both Now You See Me films. Zombieland wouldn’t have been the same without him. So when I heard he was going to be in The Highwaymen I was hoping I would get to watch it. I was able to get a screener for this movie and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for The Highwaymen here:
The outlaws made headlines. The lawmen made history. A movie that follows the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers must rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done.

The Highwaymen was a pretty good film. It did drag on a tad at times, and it was kind of obvious how this story was going to end. It did have a great cast, and they all did a wonderful job telling this tale. These two people were notorious in their time, and had achieved celebrity status. Taking them down wasn’t going to be easy, and it was a job that clearly pushed them both to the brink. The photos and clips during the credits showed just how much the country was affected by what happened. I can’t say everyone will like this movie, but I would recommend checking it out.

The Highwaymen is available now on Netflix.
