The zany film ‘The Happytime Murders’ is coming to Blu-Ray
I have seen many of Brian Henson’s movies. I think each one is unique and has something all ages can enjoy. I have to admit I was a bit surprised when I heard he directed The Happytime Murders. It looked a bit odd, but I decided to check it out. It wasn’t amazing, but I didn’t hate it either. So when I heard it was coming out on Blu-Ray, I thought it would be fun to watch it again. I was able to get a review copy and this is what I thought of this movie.

You can read the plot for The Happytime Murders here:
A raunchy comedy set in the underbelly of Los Angeles where puppets and humans coexist. Two clashing detectives with a shared secret, one human (McCarthy) and one puppet, are forced to work together again to solve the brutal murders of the former cast of a beloved classic puppet television show.

It was fun getting to watch The Happytime Murders again. I can’t say I laughed much, but the dramatic elements were quite good. I liked the whole murder mystery aspect, and even though I knew how it ended it was nice watching the whole tale unfold. The Gag Reel and Line-O-Rama were both pretty hilarious and made me laugh more than once. ‘Virtual Environments’ was pretty interesting because it revealed the work put in to bring many scenes to life. I can’t say this movie will be for everyone, but I can see some viewers enjoying it. To learn more about The Happytime Murders click on this website.
