‘American Hustle’ is out now on 4K Ultra HD
I enjoy crime films sometimes. They can take audiences on a thrilling ride and may even be based on a true story. When I heard American Hustle was coming out on 4K Ultra HD, I was hoping I would get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a review copy for this movie and here is what I thought of it.

The con is on when scam artists and lovers Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale) and Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) are entrapped by ambitious FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper) and coerced into participating in a major sting operation which hinges on snaring politician Carmine Polito (Jeremy Renner) and his associates. Complicating matters is Irving’s wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence), who could bring the whole operation crashing down around them all.
This was an okay film, but I can’t say I loved it. There is a great cast here, and they do a good job playing their roles. There is plenty of drama and a few wild moments as this plot moves along. Yet at the same time it was kind of predictable at parts, and also dragged on once or twice. Some people might like this movie, but it won’t be for everyone.
