‘True Detective: Night Country’ is out now on Blu-Ray
It can be fun to watch drama shows sometimes. When done right they can take viewers on a pretty thrilling journey. I will admit I haven’t watched any of the seasons of True Detective, but have heard good things about them. When I heard True Detective: Night Country was coming out on Blu-Ray I hoped I might get to check it out. I was able to get a review copy of this season and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for True Detective Night Country here:
When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
This was not a bad show. There was plenty of drama and suspense as this season moved along. Some shocking truths were revealed, as well as some tough choices had to be made. To me the season lost its momentum toward the end, but overall it was an alright season. Most people will enjoy it, but it won’t be for everyone.
